Get in the Game

Greater Vernon Recreation Services is excited to offer you the most popular sport in town! We offer leagues for teams, a new team sign-up for individuals, free clinics to improve your game, fun drop-ins & a tournament.

Different levels of play are offered so everybody can get in on the fun. Get the gang together and have a ball!

Leagues are for players 17 years & over. Honeymooners play with three guys & three girls on the court. Everyone has fun!

TIER 1	The top calibre of mixed volleyball in town. For competitive teams that use offensive systems and can block and spike consistently.
TIER 2	A step down from the top, but still good volleyball. For competitive teams that use a basic offensive system and can block and spike with some consistency.
TIER 3	For recreational teams with a lower skill level, trying to use a basic system with setting & spiking but the results aren't always spectacular.
TIER 4	Lower calibre, less competitive, the emphasis is on participation and fun. For teams that try bumping & setting and are glad when the ball goes over the net.

Volleyball Referees Wanted

Vernon Volleyball requires referees for the summer beach leagues.

Are you looking for a part time job in the evenings?
Would you like to make $9 - $14.00 per hour while working in a sports atmosphere?
Positions are available Monday - Friday.
Are you a Certified Volleyball Referee or have a good knowledge of the game?
